Listening to and understanding foreign speakers by using audio-visual materials. Encouraging independent discussion on a given topic in a foreign language.

Learning outcomes1. Use elementary rules of writing, reading and pronunciation in the Italian language.
2. Use simple phrases and sentences in basic communication in Italian.
