Course description: The course deals with history of advertising and analysis of advertisements.

Learning outcomes: Students will be able to: describe the functions of advertisement texts and analyse the linguistic characteristics on lexical, syntactic and text level.

Teaching methods: teaching through seminars, classroom discussion, presentations
