Course description: 1.-2. Introduction to the school (teaching) language, 3.-4. Processing recent topics from German-speaking countries (comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, style, translation and mediation), presentation on a given topic, writing different types of texts in German (abstract, description, essay), 15. final discussion.

Learning outcomes: During this course students will deepen their language in use and the knowledge of the culture of German-speaking countries as well, they will develop their language skills (including written and oral communication skills and intercultural communication competency), they will translate some specialist and scientific texts and will be able to use their skills and competences for teaching German as a foreign language (the use of school (teaching) language).
