Course description: The course offers students an overview of contemporary Dutch and Flemish literature from 1900 to 1945. Learning outcomes: Students will be able to: analyse and differentiate the Dutch and Flemish literary directions of the first half of the 20th century; differentiate and compare literary forms such as futuristic novels, novel sequence, etc., recognise Dutch and Flemish poets of the first half of the 20th century; analyse poetry of Dutch and Flemish poets of the first half of the 20th century, differentiate Dutch and Flemish novelists of the first half of the 20th century, recognise capital works of Dutch and Flemish novelists in the first half of the 20th century, critically analyse literary works.
