Course: Literature and Reading Comprehension in German Language Classes ECTS credits: 3 Language: German Duration: one semester Status: elective Course type: 2 hours of seminar Course description: This course offers know-how and skills for the implementation of German literature for children and young people in classes of German as a foreign language. Learning outcomes: Students will develop receptive and productive skills for implementing German literature for children and young people in classes of German as a foreign language. They will be able to explain features of different narrative text types, reading styles and strategies. Students will be able to choose an appropriate work of literature for different age groups and language proficiency. They will prepare their own plan and learning materials for the implementation of a literary work in a class of German as a foreign language.
