Course: Contemporary German Language 1

Course description: This course focuses on morphological and syntactic accuracy within the standard German language. The objective is for students to develop their abilities of comprehension, as well as their written and oral communication skills.

Learning outcomes: Through various reading, writing, listening and speaking exercises, and through the individual study of grammar, students should be able to express themselves fluently and spontaneously (orally and in writing) with minimal grammatical errors. They are also taught to use reference books, especially dictionaries and grammar handbooks.

Teaching methods: language classes, teaching through exercises and seminars, classroom discussion, presentations, individual work, E-learning (Omega)
