Course: Teaching Procedures for Acquisition of Knowledge and Development of Skills for German Language ECTS credits: 2 Language: German Duration: one semester Status: obligatory Course type: 2 hours of seminar Course description: In this course students will apply the acquired know-how and skills for autonomous teaching German as a foreign language based on the communicative and pragmatic approach. Students will be trained in preparing and analysing of lesson plans. The course is considered as an introductory seminar for the related courses in the final year of the graduate studies. Learning outcomes: Students will be able to use their skills and competences for teaching German as a foreign language to learners of different age groups, proficiency levels and teaching environments. They will develop skills of reflective lesson planning focused on: the learner, the learning contents and learning outcomes. They will also develop a lesson plan based on the theoretical knowledge acquired during the course.
