Cilj kolegija: Students of Rāmcaritmānas can learn the Social, cultural, human values and other aspects of medevial Indian society.

Opis kolegija: Rāmcaritmānas is the most popular epic in Avadhī and in each kāṇḍ Maṅgalacaraṇa is written in Sanskrit. It was written by Gosvāmī Tulsīdās in the 16th century but now it is popularly called “Bible of Northern India” Rāmcaritmānas is a masterpiece of vernacular literature. It has been extremely popular in northern India for last four hundred years and sang by a common man. It has relevance for the present society. Rāmcaritmānas consist seven kāṇḍs such as Bāl kāṇḍ, Ayodhyā kāṇḍ, Araṇya kāṇḍ, Kiśkindhā kāṇḍ, Sundar kāṇḍ, Laṅkā kāṇḍ and Uttar kāṇḍ. In these lectures,

Rāmcaritmānas consist of seven kāṇḍs such as Bāl kāṇḍ, Ayodhyā kāṇḍ, Araṇya kāṇḍ, Kiśkindhā kāṇḍ, Sundar kāṇḍ, Laṅkā kāṇḍ and Uttar kāṇḍ. In these lectures, focus will be only on Sundar kāṇḍ in which Hanuman went to Laṅkā to find out Sītā. It is one of the smallest kāṇḍs famous for its interesting and emotional story of Rām and Sītā.
