Born on 4 June 1981 in Zagreb. In April 2008 he graduated in Comparative Literature and Philosophy at the Zagreb University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences with a graduation thesis in Film Studies (The semiotic aspects of classical film theory: Problems of meaning on film and the representation of reality). From October 2008 a junior researcher at the Department (Section of Film Studies). He was a member of the editorial boards of the student magazines K. and Čemu (chief editor). During his study he had received the Rector’s Award and the Award of Excellence in Study. He publishes papers in the magazines Hrvatski filmski ljetopis, Arti musices, K., Iluzija, Diskrepancija.

Areas of interest: film theory, history of film theory, film semiotics, film narration, cognitive film studies, theory of film enunciation
