dr. sc. Marina Jajić Novogradec, poslijedoktorandica

Marina Jajić Novogradec, PhD, postdoctoral researcher at the Department of East Slavic Languages and Literatures, Chair of Russian Language. She graduated in the English language and literature and Russian language and literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. In 2017 she gained her PhD on Crosslinguistic influence in English vocabulary acquisition: the role of language recency and proficiency. From 2014/2015 until today she gives lectures on Glottodidactics and Second language acquisition, and holds seminars in Russian language teaching methodology and Ukrainian language teaching methodology at the Department of East Slavic Languages and Literatures and Slavic languages teaching methodology at the Department of West Slavic Languages and Literatures.

In 2019 she became a research associate in the scientific area of humanities, scientific field of Philology.

Her research interests are: foreign language acquisition, teaching English and Russian as foreign languages, crosslinguistic influences, individual bilingualism and plurilingualism and language of coursebooks.

She has been ECTS coordinator since October 2018.
