I was born in Zagreb on July 6th 1972 . I have completed my elementary school education in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) and Zagreb, and my high-school education in Vienna (Austria). At the University of Vienna, I enrolled Classical archaeology and History, and have continued the study of Archaeology and History at the on the Faculty of Humanities and Social sciences, University of Zagreb, where I graduated 2001. 2004 by defending the thesis entitled “Monuments VII . Legion of the Roman province of Dalmatia” I got the Master’s degree from the same University. 2009 I have defended my PhD thesis entitled “Architecture of Roman legionary fortresses” and got the PhD degree by the same University.

From 2001. to 2013th I was employed at the Department of Archaeology of the Faculty of Humanities and Social sciences in Zagreb as research assistant on the projects led by Prof. Mirjana Sanader, PhD. Roman military camps in Croatia – Tilurij (0130660) , Roman military camps in Croatia – Tilurij (0130460) and a Roman military camp in Croatia (130-0000000-0777 ). I became Assistant Professor in 2013. Since then I am teaching Roman Archaeology at he Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. The focus of my research work is also the Roman Archaeology, focusing on the Roman army and its archaeological heritage.

I received the year award of the Croatian Archaeological Society for the book Spomenici VII. legije na području rimske provincije Dalmacije = Monuments of Legio VII in the Roman Province of Dalmatia, Split 2011.Memberships: Croatian Archaeological Society; Association Internationale d’Épigraphie Grecque et Latine.
