From its beginnings, the Institute has published around 80 publications, most of them independently, some in collaboration with other publishers such as the FF Press. The majority of these publications were direct results of the Institute’s research projects, but several monographs, dictionaries and other manuals not specifically related to the projects were published as well. Since 1972 the Institute has been co-publisher the journal Contemporary Linguistics (Suvremena lingvistika) with the Croatian Philological Society (Hrvatsko filološko društvo).
