The title of the diploma paper (i.e. magister or master’s thesis) is registered after the student has finished his/her 3rd semester of a graduate study programme, until May 1 in the forth year of his/her studies at the latest. Diploma paper supervisors and diploma topics are of students’ own choosing: both name of the supervisor and the title of the paper are registered by handing in an appropriate official form to the Department administration. For interdisciplinary papers, students must have a co-supervisor, as well as their paper topic approved by the other department.
