THE END OF STUDY PROGRAMME – A DIPLOMA PAPER

REQUIREMENTS FOR DIPLOMA PAPER REGISTRATION:

The student is to registrate his/her diploma paper topic and supervisor by the time he/she enrols in the 4th semester of a graduate study programme.

The topic is approved by the Department Council.

Before defending his/her diploma paper, the student must pass the minimum of 6 language and 3 literature courses.

A language diploma paper can be written on a topic concerning one Slavic language (provided the student has passed the minimum of 3 courses on this particular language) or a comparative one (if the student mostly attended South Slavic courses or courses on more than one South Slavic language).

Alternatively, Language and Literature Module of the university South Slavic graduate study programme can be completed by taking a joint diploma exam (in written and oral form, according to a stipulated plan). This option is available only to students who write their diploma paper in their second major.
