Dear Colleagues,
we have the pleasure to inform You that in the days 19–20 March 2020, the fifteenth year of the international Conference of the Young Slavists with the subheading: “Russia and the Slavic World: Centuries of Coexistence and Clashes“; is going to take place at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, Prague. All interested people such as senior students, graduates, alumni, PhD students and young scholars will once again be able to present the results of their scientific activities. We seek to continue the successful legacy established in previous years 2005–2018 and heartily invite participants from your university to join us at the conference!
We would be very grateful for spreading this information among Your students and colleagues.
The aim of this project is to increase the permeability of information about scientific activities across Slavonic specializations and various Slavonic workplaces. To achieve it we need to set up quite a large amount of papers and provide good conditions for development of useful discussion.
We ask prospective participants to prepare a paper in a length of of 15–20 minutes, and possibly a poster of the A0 the paper size. All Slavonic languages will be the languages of the conference. The reports will be divided into sections according to the topics. The sections will be conducted by the members of academia of the Charles University. Participants in the conference presenting a paper will be offered to publish their contribution in a form of comprehensive study in conference proceedings

Accommodation: If applied in time, we also provide accommodation in Charles University dormitory for participants from outside Prague and from abroad (participant pays the costs).
